1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between Volta International Ltd ("we," "our," or "Volta Digital") and you ("Client"). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts. If engaging on behalf of a company, you warrant you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
3. Services Provided
We provide professional web design, development, and digital marketing services as described on our website. All contracts are with Volta International Ltd directly. We serve clients internationally, with services delivered remotely.
Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00-19:00 UK time (excluding UK bank holidays) Urgent Support: 24/7 for critical issues (website completely down, security breach, payment system failure)
4. Project Process
4.1 Timeline
Project timelines begin upon receipt of deposit payment
Standard delivery: 5-7 business days (Essential/Business packages)
24-hour delivery: Available with £500 premium
Timelines void if Client delays content/feedback delivery
4.2 Revisions
Up to 3 rounds of reasonable revisions included
Changes after project completion constitute new work (charged separately if not included in maintenance plan)
Examples of revisions: colour adjustments, font changes, content updates, image swaps. NOT revisions: new pages, structural changes, functionality additions.
4.3 Project Completion A project is considered complete when:
Client provides written approval, OR
Maximum revisions reached, OR
14 days pass without Client response
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Pricing
All prices in GBP (EUR accepted at current exchange rate)
Prices exclusive of VAT where applicable
Payment methods: Bank transfer, card (via Stripe), cryptocurrency by arrangement
Cryptocurrency accepted subject to additional terms and current exchange rates
All prices exclude VAT. VAT will be added where applicable at the prevailing rate.
5.2 Payment Schedule
50% deposit due immediately to commence work
50% balance due before website goes live
Deposits are non-refundable once work begins
5.3 Late Payments
7-day grace period
Service suspension after 14 days
£50 reactivation fee
Interest at 10% above Bank of England base rate
We retain all rights to work until full payment received
6. Maintenance Services
6.1 Mandatory Maintenance All websites require an active maintenance plan:
Essential/Business sites: From £60/month
E-commerce sites: From £200/month
Includes hosting, security, updates, and specified support
6.2 Cancellation
30 days written notice required
Upon cancellation, website transfers to Client's full responsibility
We bear no liability for issues post-cancellation
Price changes: 30 days notice provided
Upon cancellation, Client has 30 days to migrate website to their own hosting. After 30 days, we may delete all files. Migration assistance available for £150.
7. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:
Provide content in acceptable formats (PDF, Word, email, etc.)
Respond to requests within 3 business days
Warrant ownership/rights to all provided content
Maintain own backups after project completion (unless on maintenance plan)
Indemnify us against claims arising from Client-provided content
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Ownership
Client owns website upon full payment
We retain rights to our proprietary code/frameworks
Portfolio usage requires explicit Client permission
8.2 Demo Sites The Onyx Bar & Grill, Axiom Caldwell, and Vector Electrical are demonstration sites only. They do not represent real businesses and no products/services are actually available through these demos. Any resemblance to real-life businesses is purely coincidental.
8.3 Licenses
Stock asset licenses maintained during active maintenance plans
Client responsible for licenses post-maintenance
9. Warranties & Guarantees
We Guarantee:
80+ PageSpeed Insights (desktop average) score at time of delivery, subject to Client maintaining recommended hosting and not adding third-party plugins/scripts
99.9% uptime for hosted sites
Bug fixes indefinitely while on a maintenance plan
We Do NOT Guarantee:
Specific business results
SEO rankings
Third-party platform performance
Results from force majeure events
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Cap Our total liability shall not exceed the total project value paid by Client.
10.2 Exclusions We are not liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Lost profits or business opportunities
Data loss (Client responsible for backups)
Third-party service failures
11. 24-Hour Service Terms
Available for Essential Presence and Business Site packages only
£500 premium added to standard pricing
Full premium refunded if we fail to deliver within 24 hours
Timeline begins upon receipt of complete brief and deposit
"Complete brief" means all content and requirements provided
We are not responsible for any 'missing content' that is not included in the complete brief, and we are not responsible for any delays that arise due to client-requested revisions
12. Termination
12.1 Termination Rights Either party may terminate with written notice.
12.2 Effect of Termination
Client forfeits deposit
All incomplete work deleted
No rights granted to partial work
Maintenance continues until notice period expires
13. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary information, trade secrets, business strategies, and sensitive data shared during engagement. This includes client lists, pricing strategies, and technical methodologies. This obligation survives termination for 3 years.
14. Non-Solicitation
Client agrees not to hire or attempt to hire us as an employee during and for 12 months after service completion.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Process
Good faith negotiation
If unresolved, English courts
15.2 Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15.3 Legal Fees Each party bears their own legal costs unless the court orders otherwise.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement These Terms constitute the entire agreement, superseding all prior agreements.
16.2 Modifications
Changes to Terms require 30 days notice via email
Continued service use constitutes acceptance
Project-specific modifications must be in writing
16.3 Communications
Email constitutes valid legal notice
Notices sent to addresses provided by each party
16.4 Force Majeure Neither party liable for delays/failures due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
16.5 Severability If any provision is invalid, the remainder continues in full effect.
16.6 No Subcontracting We perform all work directly without subcontractors.
16.7 Zero-Deposit Offers Special payment terms may be offered to specific invited clients only. Standard terms apply to all others.
